  • Immerse yourself in the Argentinian culture.

The experience starts with a pickup from your place of stay on a comfortable van, with the company of a tour coordinator. Then, we’ll move to the San Isidro neighborhood (Mondays, Wednesdays and Sundays) or to the San Telmo district (Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays) to enter a cozy vegan restaurant with a special room for cooking classes.

You will receive a welcome from your host, a local vegan cooker, the main chef of the vegan restaurant we are visiting. She will help you prepare three distinct typical Argentine meals and provide fresh, local vegan ingredients to reveal the secrets of Argentina’s beloved recipes.

These three meals are easy to make and truly enjoyable to savor, whether you choose to have them as an appetizer or a main dish.

The class will begin with the making of homemade Argentine vegan empanadas. Argentine empanadas stand out from other Latin American varieties due to their distinctive dough, carefully seasoned fillings, and regional adaptations.

Argentina is famous globally for its empanadas, available across Buenos Aires and the entire country. They are popular in restaurants and at fast-food establishments.

Our upcoming dish, Locro, is a meat and vegetable stew commonly considered Argentina’s national dish that originally includes various types of meat. We’re going to make vegan versions of them. This hearty and tasty stew also includes white beans, squash, hominy plus a mix of veggies and spices.

The class last preparation will surprise you with a vegan crème caramel topped with caramel sauce. This sauce is super popular in Argentina and is called “dulce de leche.” This famous French dessert, also known as vegan flan, has a silky-smooth texture, the perfect level of sweetness, and feels really light.
