Take a tour to Corrientes Avenue, often referred to as the “Argentine Broadway,” because of the amazing number of theaters and cinemas found along its many streets. On this avenue, you can find many restaurants, traditional pizzerias, and innumerable bookstores that remain open till late at night.
Let’s go on with a trip along the city’s most notable boulevard, the 9 de Julio Avenue, and the famous Obelisk, lit in different colours, standing at the center. Then, the tour goes beneath the illuminated murals of Evita and Messi, and through the also radiant Opera House, the Colón Theatre, notable for its striking architecture and cultural significance.
Next, travelers will tour the oldest square in Buenos Aires, the Plaza de Mayo, including all the buildings which shaped the history of the city: the pink house or Casa Rosada, the Metropolitan Cathedral, and others, which provide a distinctive sight at night, illuminated in different colours.
Then, the tour visits the stylish Puerto Madero area, to enjoy the lively nightlife of its eateries and pubs, where music spills into the walking streets and beckons both residents and visitors to groove. Finally, you must not overlook the two lit-up landmarks that have turned into a postcard image of the area and the city: the Women’s Bridge and the Sarmiento Frigate.
Our last stop will take us to Palermo district, to discover the stunning metal flower, Floralis Generica, the enormous sculpture that opens and closes in sync with a natural flower, illuminated in shades of purple and pink.
We continue by exploring the Planetarium, which is lit up next to its own lake, as the colored lights are mirrored in its waters, producing an original effect. As a final point, we visit Palermo Soho, the spot preferred by youth to gather in its over fifty bars, pubs, cafes, restaurants, and nightclubs. An area boasting endless nightlife and a variety of entertainment options.
