Time travel to Buenos Aires’ golden age onboard the Historic Tram, and explore the elegant Caballito neighborhood.

This adventure takes us back to Buenos Aires during the 1900s years, exploring the Caballito district together with locals looking for a historical experience or just in search of a weekend getaway.
Tramways travel along traditional streets of a district still retaining beautiful old mansions, streets covered with leafy trees, together with quaint little hotels.
These vintage vehicles produced by Argentine Tramways Co. were famously recognized in earlier times as Preston, named after the English city where this manufacturer’ workshops used to take place.
For a century, the streetcars served as the primary mode of urban transportation in Buenos Aires, until 1963 when they were removed. But later, during the decade of 1980, this brief route was revived by a local association of friends, providing a short itinerary on original restored vehicles.
On these moving museums you’ll appreciate special details of the furniture while listening to the accurate descriptions from one of the tram guards, wearing his usual attire.
